The Illusion of Religion: Understanding Faith vs. Organized Belief

Faith is and never will be religion. Faith is an individuals journey and relationship with the intersections and the mystic of life. Religion is a manmade tool used to ensure that when we look up, we look up in awe not in disdain. For if we looked through the lens of disdain to those above, we would be revolted by their actions and their control.

And it was certainly not a white guy with immaculate fingernails

God said to Moses, “Thou shalt not kill.” Maybe that’s the ultimate grift or lie that we have based all of western civilization on. I know it’s a break from normative thinking. That’s ok. Remember the world was once flat and the dragons roamed the countryside.

Throughout human history there has always been mysticism and mystics or soothsayers or fortune tellers or prophets. The Ozes of Time so to speak. Those that we call great out of loyalty, tradition and fear. What actually will happen to me if there is a heaven and a hell? Understand logic enough and the likelihood of cherubs or zippers in the sky land on a big fat zed zero zip.

Man made mysticism is the grift. Not faith. Faith is one’s personal relationship with themselves, others, the world, the past, the present and the future in which they are no longer. Man made mysticism is different. There’s a word for it. Religion. How anyone with a connection to logic could accept someone else’s understanding of the undefinable or mystic is illogical. Somewhere along the way they took a wrong turn. Does this mean someone can’t ask others for support and help in understanding mysticism? No. But anyone who takes someone else’s pov as truth is lying to themselves. Sorry.

Because if we start pulling back curtains and veils, what we seem to find are a lot of manufactured or constructed truths that benefit the few, not the many. For example, thou shalt not kill. Well, we have wars where we kill in good faith. Police and such do it regularly as part of their job. We do it to eat. To clothe ourselves. We create vehicles that make seeing the road difficult for anything not the same size which would include pedestrians, cyclists, squirrels, old ladies in wheelchairs and deer among others. We have created laws to allow one of the most advanced killing tools of other humans in our homes and on our persons. Guns. Yet, many still believe in the old adage thou shalt  not kill.

I think this has been constructed to really mean thou shalt not kill those above me. Those humans who have power and wealth and voice. If you kill each other, that is okay. Crips vs Bloods. Go at it just don’t do it on Park Avenue or Rodeo Drive.

All species are programmed to survive. That’s it. To the ninth degree. Survive at all costs. If the deer could kill the wolf, it would not hesitate. It knows its place. It’s purpose. As would the seal being attacked and consumed by the shark. If the seal had the tool to kill the shark, it would without hesitation.

So why are normal humans so weak? Why do we seem to be programmed against that very trait that runs through all of nature. Survive at all costs. Is it because we don’t have the tools? We have trucks almost the size of tanks. Most Americans have more than one gun in their home yet we don’t use the tools of violence that we have designed unless one of our overlords gives us the go ahead.

We are moving quickly towards the first trillionaire. $1,000,000,000,000.00. This type of power has already existed throughout history. We have called them emperors and pharaohs and kings and queens. They rule all. They own everything. They can do what they want with all. This includes people.

The common man needs to wake up to the fact that those who crave power do not and have never cared about those who are below them no matter how close or how far. Fuck, America was built by other men who owned by those who craved that power. That craving did not just disappear into the ether. It is there. Wanting. Craving. Desiring power. It’s just that the powerless are too blind to see the game.

Wake up. The purpose of all humans on planet earth is to survive. It is the same for every living creature. Our system has been co-opted and constructed in a way that we go against that very nature daily. We try to put off thoughts of sex and violence and pleasure. And we do for the most part while those with power do not. They use their generational lies to manage us so that we won’t just fight back and shift the dynamic. There will always be a King and Queen of the Jungle. It does not always have to be someone from a family that can be traced back to the rock and Moses. Just saying.
